Cars in the Park will be held on Saturday, June 28 in Getzendaner Park from 11 am-3 pm. $15 entry fee. 26 awards will be given, including Best of Show. Dash plaques for the first 50 participants, door prizes, raffle tickets, food, 50/50 drawings, plus much more. Fun for all ages. Due to water damage sustained in the recent thunderstorm, the Rogers Hotel is temporarily closed. We have learned that a drain pipe on the roof apparently became clogged and caused water to collect on the roof which then entered the hotel. It was reported to us, the depth of the water on the roof was around 18 inches.
Rogers Hotel Update
We have learned that the Rogers Hotel may be permanently closed and that the owner may be considering others options for the hotel. We have been informed that plans are being discussed that would remodel the Rogers Hotel into either offices or apartments! In our opinion, it would be a great tragedy to see the Rogers Hotel as anything other that what she was intended to be! More information
