Local Author Book Signing

On Saturday, May 17, 2008, local author, Kathryn E. Eriksen will have a book signing of her new work, “RePaint Your Life: Create a Life in Art” at Hastings Book Store, located at 791 North Hwy 77, Suite 101, Waxahachie, Texas.  The book signing is from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

“RePaint Your Life” is based on the life and philosophy of Connie Jordan, abstract artist.  The book offers invaluable insights and techniques for artists of every medium to place, market and sell their art. 

 Both Connie Jordan and Kathryn will be present to meet and greet guests and personally autograph copies of the book.  Please stop by and say hello to Connie and Kathryn!

Connie Jordan is an abstract artist who has supported herself with her art since graduating from high school.  Her life story and philosophies are the basis of a new book called, “RePaint Your Life: Create a Life in Art.”  In the book, Connie describes how her father (a full blooded Apache Indian) and her mother (an Irish Catholic) taught and empowered her to live a life as an artist.  Lessons learned from Connie’s childhood, as well as her life experiences are designed to guide the new or aspiring artist on their journey.
