Nana's Fried Pies is located in a shopping strip just two blocks west of 8th Street. Nana's is a family-owned business with a friendly atmosphere where you can eat in or just grab and go. They serve fruit and meat pies and have a large selection of both.
On my first visit I tried my favorite, sugar-free Apricot Fried Pie. The crust was flaky and the apricot filling was generous and tasty. Since then I have been back many times. Last visit I picked up a BBQ Brisket Fried Pie. It was easy to eat out of hand and had a generous amount of meat and sauce inside the flaky crust. If you find yourself in Midlothian, stop on by Nana's Fried Pies and pick up some pies. You won't be disappointed.You won't be disappointed.
